Ermelinda (Eme) Montoya Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 86, Ermelinda (Eme) Montoya (Midvale, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Velasquez and Elena Maclovia Sisneros; her siblings, Cordie, Pablo and Faye; and her son-in-law Michael.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert R. Montoya; her children, Ralph Montoya, Gene Montoya, Enedina (Eny), Christensen and Elaine Hansen (Casey); her daughter-in-law Lisa; and her siblings, Lula, Lily, Ester, Rosie, Joann, Linda, Patsy, Joe and Paul. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Goff Mortuary (8090 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church (624 Lennox St, Midvale, UT 84047). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goff Mortuary (8090 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047).
