The memory of Glen L. Irish (Midvale, Utah), born in Murray, Utah, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Glen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Glen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his sister Joy Thornley; and his son Roger Glen Irish. He is survived by: his wife Effie Walker; his daughters, Rebecca Ipson (Mark) and Sarah Featherstone (Jayson); his daughter-in-law Kim Irish; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Thornley, LeRoy Walker and Pearl Russo (Tony). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Midvale Stake Center (97 W 7500 S, Midvale, UT 84047).
