He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Butterfield; and his children, William Eugene Thompson (Sandra), KayLee Gibbs (Kenneth), LoriAnn Smith and Jody. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Midvale 7th Ward (8350 Jackson St, Midvale, UT 84047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
