We announce the death of Johnny A. Gonzales (Midvale, Utah), born in Llano, New Mexico, who passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adonay Gonzales and Margarita Gonzales; and his siblings, Joe, Moises, Patricio, Arnold, Luciano, Lila Padilla, Rufina Griego, Demetria Martinez and Rachel Fernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Cleofas; his children, Bernie (Marissa), Leonard (Chantel) and Anita (Edgar); his sister-in-law Carolina Gonzales of Leadville, Colorado; his grandsons, Nicholas Valladares, Gabriel Gonzales and Isaiah Marquez; his nephews, Sonny Gonzales, Ruben Sanchez and Sean Oldroyd; his grandchildren, Patrick Montoya, Venessa Gonzales, Malayah Valladares, Jordan Valladares, Sebastian Evangelesta, Samantha Clark, Alexa Evangelesta, Alejandra Evangelesta, Antonio Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales and Abraham Gonzales; and his goddaughters, Sylvia Oldroyd and Victoria Corbin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
