He was predeceased by: his aunts, Martika L. Bate and Dori Bushnell; and his uncle David B. W. Bate. He is survived by: his parents, Alfredo Ibanez Ortega and Tanessa Tyshell Bate; his sister Mariella JoAnn Bate; his grandmother Carmen Ibanez; his stepgrandfather Magdaleno Valdez; his grandmother Jennifer Bate; his great-grandparents, Balvina Ortega, Kerry W. Bate and Marilyn E. Bate; his aunts and uncles, Miguel Ibanez Ortega, Adrian Valdez, Eli Bate (Nayeli Ortiz), Joseph Bate, Joshua Bate (Josie Taylor), Valeria Valdez, Marilee Borden, Gwendolyn Flores (Danny) and Becca Bate; and also, Marco Ibanez-Perez and Raul Ibanez Rojas. He is also survived by Numerous other great-aunts and great-uncles and cousins.
