With sadness, we share the passing of Stacey Marie Hembury (Midvale, Utah). Stacey, born on September 19, 1968, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Clara and José Martinez. She is survived by: her parents, Pete Aperges and Sherry Kindel; her sons, Alec and Brendan; her pet Hazel; her husband Shane; her mother-in-law Lavern Hembury; her brother Michael; her father-in-law Stuart Hembury; her stepsister Angie McMinn; her friends, Vera and Willard Chipman; Donna Hembury Evans and Owen Evans.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goff Mortuary (8090 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047).
Stacy was a fighter and just as she fought cancer with a ferocity that only she could muster, she would also love a moment to fight against corporations taking money under the guise of cancer research, so in lieu of flowers, Stacey requested that donations be made to West Valley Animal Shelter.
