He was predeceased by: his wife Julie Rae Paschal; his son Cameron Collin Peterson; his sister Judy Nicholson; and his parents, Allen Devoe Peterson and Neva Gertrude Herrell.
He is survived by: his children, Jordan (Adrienne), Lezlie (John Evans) and Whitney (Ann Marie). He is also survived by 38 grandchildren (including spouses) and 24 great-grandchildren.
