He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellwood Carruth and Eliza Jane Branch; his siblings, Mary, Louise (Van Dyke), Edna, Marie, Richard, Frank and Russell; his children, Colleen (Fisher) and Reed Patrick Carruth; his grandchildren, Joshua David Fisher and Brittany Ann Searle; and his great grandchild Logan Brandon Searle.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Patterson; his children, Diane Weaver (Bill), Robert Patterson Carruth, Thomas Mark Carruth (Ivana), Marianne Searle (Paul), David Branch Carruth (Kimberly), Amy Castro and Michael Paul Carruth; and his son-in-law Blaine Fisher. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
