It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deyon Eakins Spendlove (Morgan, Utah), born in Summit, Utah, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Oscar Eakins and Inez Shill; and her siblings, Freida Sickinger and Albert Eakins. She is survived by: her children, Shanna Schaefermeyer (Theron), Denzil Spendlove (Susan), Dawain Spendlove (Jana), Linda Butcher (late David), Rodney Spendlove, Diana Berman (late Lavy) and Lisa Griffith (Christian); and her husband Melvin Wayne Spendlove. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.
Deyon was a simple woman of faith and charity.
