He was predeceased by: his siblings, Steve, Dale, Connie and Sally (Jean); and his great grandchildren, Faith, Hope, Charity Garfield and Pepper Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Jean Ball of Henefer; his children, Marilyn Garfield (Jay), Charlene Hall (Blayne), Pamela Jensen (Alvin), Howard Thurston (Kelly), Kevin Thurston (Tracy), Janet Call (Kerry) and Norman Thurston (Maria); and his sisters, Nell Nickerson (Jim) and Ann McMillan (Mike). He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, and a large number of great-grandchildren.
