He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Robert Finklea and Annie Dorothy Finklea; his wife Virginia Bywater Finklea; his children, Bart Robert Finklea (Kamille), David Robert Finklea (Tammy), Mindi Louis (Ramy), Kimberly Romeril (Gary), James Brett Finklea (Heidi), Robert Elwood Finklea, Austin James Finklea (Laura) and Kathryn Mikkelsen (Dave); and his grandmother Emily. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
