He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Vicki Paul (Layne) of Washington, Brian Finlayson (Brooke) of Utah, Brenda Bingham (Todd) of Utah, Valerie Finlayson of Utah, Karla Wegner (Chris) of Utah and Kristy Ware (Mike) of Utah; his brothers, Keith Finlayson (Carolyn), Merril Finlayson and Dan Finlayson (Connie); and his sister-in-law Michelle Finlayson.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Morgan LDS Rock Church (10 W Young St, Morgan, UT 84050). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the South Morgan Cemetery (335 S State St, Morgan, UT 84050).
