Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shirley will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Arthur and Maryan Nelson; husband: Larry Robert Nye; children: Scott Nye (Tammy), Troy Nye (Shana), Randy Nye (Shauna), Natalie Zuech (Tony), Cody Nye (Tanaya), Ryan Nye (Janell), and David Nye (Natalie); sister: Diane Child (Francis); and 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Morgan West Stake Center (2755 W Old Hwy Rd, Morgan, UT 84050). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
