He is survived by: his parents, Robert Horne (Miriam) and Phyllis Forsey Horne; his wife Lynda Ruben; his children, Ryan Horne (Christina), Joseph Horne, Benjamin Horne (Jane) and Mary Nelson (Alex); and his siblings, Karen Horne (Michael Rowley), Richard Horne (Jill), Bonnie Schroader (Bill), Todd Horne and Jeff Horne (Jennifer).

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brownstone LDS Chapel (6410 S 725 E, Murray, UT 84107). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
