He is survived by: his son Joseph M. Ortiz; his siblings, Marion Ortiz (Diane), Alex Ortiz (Esther), Virginia Gonzalez and Diane Garcia (Cesar); and his siblings-in-law, Aldolph Amador (Ann), Sacramento Amador (Beverly), Tony Amador (Evelia), Kay Amador-Dorsett, Louisa Valdez, Consuelo Moreno (Jose Andres) and Marcela Gomez (Martin). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
