Guy Watts Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2025, at the age of 61, Guy Watts (Murray, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Guy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Guy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Firth. He is survived by: his father Ronald G. Watts; his wife Vangee Ann Salinas; his children, Ashten and Ian; his siblings, Lance Watts (Christy) and Andrea Nielson (Rick); and his aunt Connie Mosher. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

“Oh how I love the many great memories I have from the days of playing baseball and spending time with Guy and his family in Murray. I’m confident my dad, Coach Tate was there to welcome him to ‘home plate’. I can picture my dad saying “way to hustle Scooter!” No one was more dedicated to the team (Dodgers and Davidson Lumber). No one would out hustle him. We love you Scooter! Joe Tate”
