He was predeceased by: his parents, Varge Monroe and Leona Cox Thompson; and his brother Darrell. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his brothers, Val (Judy), Gary (Jill) and Randy (Sheri); and his sons, Jeff (Bonnie), Greg (Gina) and Doug (Rachelle). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
