He was predeceased by: his parents, Lupe A. Muñoz and Maria N. Muñoz; his sister Amelia Bourne; his parents-in-law, Charlene DeShazo and Lionel "Lee" Camara; and his siblings-in-law, Christopher Camara, Richard Camara and Larilee "Punky" Prueitt.

He is survived by: his wife Melody; his son Marcus (Ashley); his grandchildren, Elijah and Kailah Sua; his siblings, Maria "Chaparra" DeOllos (Jesse), Lupe "Chaparro" Muñoz (Shery), Irma Martinez and Martín Muñoz (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, John Bourne, Darrell Camara (Rebecca), Cynthia Scroggins and Aleesa Thomas (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1375 East Spring Lane 84117). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Benvegnu Center at St. Vincent. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1375 East Spring Lane 84117).
