She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John F. Martin and Claudia McMurray Martin; and her siblings, Evelyn, Laurell, Jean, Johnny Ray and Ronny Kay. She was also cherished by 5 children, 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

After retirement, Marilyn volunteered at the Utah Heritage Foundation for 20 plus years.
