He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Peterson and Lucille Worthen Peterson; his wife Ila RaNee Painter; and his brothers, Herbert, Sherwin, Paul, Vernon and Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Peterson (Rosalie) of Nephi, Darin Peterson (JoEllen) of Tremonton and Angela Rasmusson (Shand) of Haworth; Jay Peterson of St. Anthony, Idaho.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren.
