It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Darwin Cannell (Nephi, Utah) is shared. Michael, born on September 28, 1965, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michael will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Michael by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Michael is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Michael’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Darwin J. Cannell and Patricia Reeves Cannell; his wife Joye; and his children, Alexander (Kayshia), Nicholas (Yvonne), Benjamin, Sarah and Genevieve (Dylan). He was also cherished by his five siblings and eleven in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nephi North Stake Center (1125 N 400 E, Nephi, UT 84648).
