He was predeceased by: his father Seviano Salas; his brother Pedro Salas; and his mother Josefina Salas. He is survived by: his wife Alma Leticia Meraz; his children, Efrain, Rosalba and Alejanda Salas; his granddaughter Aria Rose Carnahan; his sons, Dakota Nelson, Cody Snooks and Tyson Carnahan; his grandchildren, Jaedyn and Alexys Carnahan; and his siblings, Julia Salas, Gregorio "Goyo" Salas, Jose Felipe of Jesus, Francisco Salas (Rosy), Maria Salas, Fidel Salas (Soco) and Refigio "Cuca" Salas. He is also survived by family pets.
