It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis O Rogers (North Ogden, Utah), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Dennis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dennis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Archie Rogers and Ruth Mae Hipwell; and his siblings, Diane Andersen, Beverly Simmons and Michael Rogers.
He is survived by: his spouse Sharilyn Simons; and his children, Jason Rogers (Carolee), Kathy Foster (Jesse), Kristy Neel (Brent) and Russell Rogers (Lindy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Plain City 2nd Ward Chapel (2952 N 4200 W, Plain City, UT 84404). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Plain City Cemetery (4475 W 1975 N, Plain City, UT 84404).
