She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Thompson and Mary Almana Peterson; her parents-in-law, Byron and Dorothy Nelson; her brothers, Ervin Peterson and Wayne Peterson (Arlene); her half-siblings, Erval, Melvin, Lorraine Peterson, Delta Atwood, David and Alfred Stringer; her son-in-law Jeff Rigley; her granddaughter Chrissie Taylor; and her great grandchild Kylie Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Jed Nelson (Janice); her husband Richard H. Nelson of Fran's Memories; her daughters, Janice Nelson and Kari Rigley (Richard); her sister Joyce Cox (George); and also Baby Boy Blake Nelson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Ogden 6th Ward Chapel (770 E 2100 N, North Ogden, UT 84414). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Ben Lomond Cemetery (526 E 2850 N, North Ogden, UT 84414).
