Bertha Boltz Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha Boltz (North Salt Lake, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Boltz. She is survived by: her children, Carmen Bunce, Ryan, Jeffrey, Scott and Carlos Pinto; her grandchildren, Niki, Alisia Maria and Dora; her children, Ana Lucrecia Pinto DeJong (La Looky) and Leslie DeJong; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Alelizabeth and Patrick.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foxboro North 1st Ward House (875 Foxboro Dr, North Salt Lake, UT 84054). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Breast Cancer, the Cancer Center, or the M.S. Foundation.

“Bertha was the sweetest woman I had ever known. Nobody was ever so positive and upbeat as her. When I introduced her to my wife Lina, I'll never forget Bertha telling me "She's gorgeous!" When my grandpa John Boltz married her at such a late stage in his life, it gave him a newfound outlook on life and brought out a new sunshine and energy that had been hidden in him for years.
