He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Alexander Olson and Clara Alzina Hatch Olson; his wife Ida Mae Edwards; and his brothers, Wesley, Eldred, Marion, Lorrin and Norman.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Szarek, Craig Olson (Cathy) and Rick Olson (Reina); and his sisters, Afton Ralphs and Wanda Cox. He is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
