He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tonia Eatough and George Eatough; and his great-grandparents, Virginia McDonald, Linda Spendlove and Winnie Wantland.
He is survived by: his parents, Ian Root and Amber Johnston; his cousin Jack; his siblings, Evanjalean, Trinity, Logan, Zacary, Daysha, Lochlan and Tavian; and his grandparents, Sharrie, Mike Spendlove, Mary, Jim Root, Darla, Gerry Johnston, Dee and Craig Nelson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was especially protective of his sister, Evanjalean, who he loved very deeply and enjoyed doing everything he could with her from video games and basketball to watching movies while getting a face mask done on our "girl's nights".
