He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Kunau and Mary Kunau (Repp); his wife Donna Kunau (Ambrosch); and his children, Karen Stevens and Richard Kunau.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Shirley, Claire, Sue and Glenn; and his children, Cindy Blackmon, Loren Kunau, Julie Watson (Robert), Lloyd Kunau and Jennifer Sommers (Eric). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
