She was predeceased by: her parents, Sotero Muniz and Catalina Muniz; her husband Don Salas; her sisters, Katy Gallegos and Avelina Muniz; and her great grandchild Jackson Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Cervantez (Ben), Linda Stander (Clive), Russ Salas (Wendy) and Monica Choffel (Craig); and her brother Sotero Muniz (Judy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
