He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Walker Lauritzen and Nella Syna Westrate Lauritzen; his sisters, Dagmar Westrate Lauritzen Page and Sharon Rae Lauritzen; his former wife Georgia Christensen; his wife Vonda Rae Ferney Douglass; and his daughter Ruth Lauritzen (late Don Ruess).
He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce Westrate Lauritzen and Frances Kay Lauritzen; and his daughters, Mary Ann Woods (Tim), Andrea Golding (Scott) and Emily Lauritzen Waters (Warren). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
