She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Parkinson and Sarah Ann Parkinson; her husband Sherman Sewell; her close friend Sherman; and her daughter-in-law Diana Sewell.

She is survived by: her children, Ron Sewell, Scott Sewell (Cindy), Karl Sewell (Jan), Shelly Barlow (Dave) and Jackie Dotson (Mark). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
