She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Senter Sloan and Halsie Fae Hinds Sloan; her husband Joseph Phillip Christensen; her brother Tommy Ray Sloan; her sister-in-law Phyllis Kidd Sloan; and her nephew Christopher Bradley "Brad" Sloan.

She is survived by: her son Sloan P. Christensen (Kristin Evans Christensen) of Phoenix, Arizona.; her granddaughters, Elle Sloan, Sadie Rae and Finlee Rose; her daughter Shannon Christensen (Jenny Hipwell) of West Point, Utah.; and her nephews, Bo Sloan (Holly) of Ethel, Arkansas. and Jonathan Morgan Sloan of Tupelo, Mississippi..

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM at the Myers Mortuary (845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
