He was predeceased by: his former wife Norma Child; his parents, Blaine Stromberg and Ernestine Stromberg; and his sister Eunice Young. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Clifton; his wife Carolyn Farrell; his daughters, Linda Larsen (Larry), Julie Knight (Mark), LaRae Stuart (Gene) and Jill Sjoblom (Randy); and his siblings, Joseph Stromberg and Patricia L. Stromberg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.

“Such a big loss for everybody down at George Wahlen....Ray was always the one to laugh and be cheerful!!! Even when his eyes worsened, I would always find him being sooo very nice to my Dad Julian, who was one of his best buddies down there! They would find time to talk about carpentry, with Ray being a builder and my Dad a lifelong carpenter and contractor!!! We always visited Ray when I went down to see my Dad who is going on 100 years of age.....Ray was loved and will be missed.”
