She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Heward and Virgene Heward; and her son Robert Mako Hiraoka. She is survived by: her children, Hew (Liza), Gina (PhD) and Shelley; her husband Wes; her brothers, Robert (Sharon) and Chuck (Barb); her grandchildren, Leah, Matthew, Joseph and Ryan; and her great grandchild Owen. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or First Presbyterian Church of Ogden.
