Carol Simonsen Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Carol Simonsen (Ogden, Utah) is shared. Carol, born on December 20, 1935, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Madsen and Edith Elizabeth Grundy Jacobs; her stepfather Charles "Bud" Johnson; and her siblings, Gerald Jacobs (Carma), Lillian Walker (Elwyn) and Shirley Frecker (Andrew).
She is survived by: her children, Brett Simonsen (Lori), Jace Simonsen (Tracey), Sue Walton (Shane), Shauna Jensen (Brad), Brandon Simonsen (Amy) and Eric Simonsen (Connie); and her sister Bonnie Jensen. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bonneville Shoreline Ward (1550 Rushton St, Ogden, UT 84401).
