We are sad to announce that, on December 20, 2023, at the age of 74, Cathy Scott Parent (Ogden, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Elva Matlock; and her stepfather Albert Matlock (Willard Smith). She is survived by: her pet Pickle; her children, Dustin Parent and Mary Parent; her stepchildren, James, Buddy Smith and Kristee Haslip; and her sister Chris Matlock.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that attendees consider contributing to her granddaughter Jessi to help cover funeral costs—an opportunity to honor Cathy's wishes.
