He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elaine Godwin; his sons, James and Robert (Robin Shoemaker Turnage); his grandchildren, Cody Ray Turnage, Shelby Elaine Turnage, Jordan Alexander Shoemaker and Cheyenne Autumn Turnage McLelland (Todd McLelland); and his great grandchildren, Elijah Turnage, Cohen Shoemaker and Tyler McLelland.
