He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Therald Johnston and Afton Johnston; and his brothers, Lewellyn and Lamar. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jeane Page; and his children, Lindy (Cindy), Tom (Mary Jo), Sheri and Rich. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
