He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Whitney Floyd and Virginia Payne Floyd; his son Gregory Ivan; his siblings, Lyman John, Beverly Welch and Dianne Call (Dee); and his grandchildren, Amber, Cassandra and Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sorenson; his children, Brad, Rory (Polly), Alissa Weller (Friend) and Michelle "Misty" Rowan; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Asay Floyd and David Welch. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain Ward (787 E 1700 N, North Ogden, UT 84414).
