He is survived by: his children, David Holmes II (Sherri), Danielle Marie Holmes and Marci Lynn Christiansen (Kevin); his brother Melvin Holmes of Tacoma, WA; and his brother-in-law Frank Rowland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
