He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Ellis and Emily Ellis; his sisters, Louise Bushman and Rae Irwin; his son Stephen Ellis; and his stepson William Blakeslee.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Ellis; his children, Sara Johansen (Joshua), Celisa Ellis (Carla), Korena Ellis, Denisen Ellis (Rachel) and Kiani Wallerstein (Tyson); and his brother Russell Ellis (Sandy) of California. He is also survived by ten loving grandchildren.
