She was predeceased by: her husband Bryan Kawamura; and her parents, Josephine Zacher and Steve Zacher. She is survived by: her grandsons, Bryan and Mark; her children, Stephanie and Nathan (Corky); and her siblings, Melvin Zacher (Renee) and Shirley Heagley (Henry).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary - Ogden (845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404). A rosary will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:28 AM at the St James the Just Catholic Church (495 N Harrison Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dr. Diane M. Kawamura Radiological Sciences Scholarship Endowment at Weber State University or the Diane M. Kawamura Memorial Scholarship for ACERT, continuing her legacy of advancing education and professional excellence.
