He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Alder and Norine Alder; and his son Jack. He is survived by: his brother Kevin; his former wife Evelyn; his wife Jean; his daughters, Jill (Brian), Ronna, Tracy, Valerie (Pat) and Nicole (Frank); his pet Suki; and his caregiver Andrea. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ogden Pizzeria (936 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404).
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Doug's lifelong love of animals, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
