It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane C. Carpenter of Ogden, Utah, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Claude Carpenter and Ella M. Janke; his son Michael Carpenter (Monique); his granddaughter Melissa Tuttle; and his sister Vivian Clark.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, David (Julie), Dennis (Janet) and Julie (Ricky); his wife Patricia Roper (Baker University) of Atchison, KS; and his grandchildren, Chris, Jessica (Jeff Brooks), Clark Anthon (Sherry), Simone Carpenter, Gabe Young (Shavon), Jordan Galt, Patrick Galt, Jerred Hunter, Jody Hoener and Janelle Miller (David).
