She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shirley and Fern Porter Carter. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Astle (Aaron) and Sarah Matthews (Jason); and her grandchildren, Alex, Joel, Ella, Eliza, Lincoln and Gwyneth. She is also survived by her eight siblings.
