She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose David and Teodora "Teodorita" Montoya; and her daughter-in-law Penny. She is survived by: her children, Maria Rosario Schroeder (Brian), David Ruiz, John Ruiz (Dianne) and Megan Montoya; and her sisters, Erma Quintana (Albert), Rosalbina "Rosie" Farr (Bill) and Leonila "Nonnie" Martinez (David). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
