She was predeceased by: her parents, Remon Stoney and Violet Grieve Stoney; her siblings, Bill Stoney and Laverne Palmer (Stoney); her daughter-in-law Geraldine Lucky Thurston; and her grandson Shawn Jackson.
She is survived by: her brother John Stoney; and her children, Jeaneil Jackson (David), Robert Thurston (Irene), Chris Thurston (Tori), Brad Thurston (Jana) and Bill Thurston (Sandy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
