She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Slater and Artie Iona Fowers Slater; and her siblings, Lavora Bryner, June Toone, Melvin and Floyd Slater.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Baggs (Richard), Joanne Deiter (Andrew) and Keith Ray (Rebecca); her brother Dean Slater (Lois); and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Honing and Marilyn Fowers (Theron). She is also survived by her children, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, with one on the way, and 1 great-great grandchild.
