He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Kapp and Josephine Vander Heide Kapp; his brother-in-law Ray Lewis; and his nibling Dannie Wiggins. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hansen Kapp; his sister Joan Lewis; his daughters, Kelly Grover Kristi (Greg), Kendra Hansen Nilsen (Joe) and Lisa Kopecky Kim Lasater (Todd); and his grandchildren, Jon Holley (Racheal), Jared Holley (Carmen), Rick Boman, Alisha Payton (Brian), Brandon Payton, Elizabeth Shepherd, Benjamin Shepherd, Braiden Singleton Nilsen, Bailee Lutz, Blake Prout, Berklee Nilsen and Byron Nilsen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and eleven great-grandchildren.
