The passing of Gary Chugg (Ogden, Utah), born in Washington Terrace, Utah leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 82. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Chugg and Mildred Chugg; and his brother Kraig Victor Chugg. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Chugg; his children, Corey (Danielle Chugg), Holly (Marsha Eubank) and Eric (Amanda Chugg); and his sister JoAnn Brown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Riverdale 1st Ward (1000 W & 4400 S St, Riverdale, UT 84405). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Washington Heights Memorial Park (4500 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403).
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in his honor to the Tunnel 2 Towers organization @T2T.org.
